We are SAY (Shankara Ashtanga Yoga), inspired by World renowned Yoga Guru Dr. B.KS. Iyengar. In 2005, Rajesh Kumar, a disciple of Dr.B.K.S. Iyengar, founded SAY along with his best students Chandrasekhar and Surendra in Bangalore, with 2 centers.

True to its name, SAY follows the practices of Ashtang Yoga – the eight limbs. (Asht – eight, anga – limb).

  4. Pranayama,
  5. Pratyahara,
  6. Dharana,
  7. Dhyana
  8. Samadhi.

The eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga are a process to cleance the body and mind,  to become flexible, to break the limitations which many of us impose on ourselves. The impact permeates every aspect of our lives – physical, psychological, emotional and karmic.

No matter how old or young, fit or frail you are, the results of practicing yoga are astonishing. Your understanding of asana becomes more sophisticated, your thinking become more powerful and your movements become more graceful and strong.
